Vito Joseph Labrecque

1936 - 2013
Vito grew up in Taftville and Norwich areas.  At 18 years of age, he joined the United States Marine Corps and remained a devoted marine for his entire life..

Vito retired from the Norwich State Hospital, after 37 and a half years employed as an Assistant Manager in the laundry dept. of the institution.

He and his wife  Ruth went on a trip to the sunshine state Florida and while there they made a trip to Moosehaven in Jacksonville Florida. Both were impressed, and that is when Vito decided to join the Loyal Order of Moose, Bozrah 950, in December of 1969 and has been devoted to the Moose fraternity for 44 years until his passing in 2013.

Brother Vito was active in Bozrah Moose 950 and served on numerous committees, including the Ritual Commitee which he started in Bozrah Lodge in 1975 and served as chairman His  awards are as follows:
